Risk Management Litigation Specialist

Crystal Kahler is a Risk Management Litigation Specialist in Medical Risk Management.  She has approximately twenty-five years of experience in medical malpractice defense litigation.

Ms. Kahler is the primary paralegal contact for medical malpractice litigation matters filed against the University and its personnel and handles compilation of data for subpoenas and professional liability insurance aspects related to the University.  

Before assuming her present position with the University in 2008, she spent nine years employed by the law firm of Jenkins, Pisacano, Robinson & Bailey as a medical malpractice litigation paralegal.  She has extensive experience in both federal and state court matters. 

Ms. Kahler is a Registered Paralegal (RP) and obtained her certification as a Certified Professional Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) professional in 2016.
