Christie Young

Clinical Risk Manager

Christie Young is a Clinical Risk Manager in Medical Risk Management.  Her role includes surveillance, investigation, and review of patient adverse events, incident reports, and other indicators of potential exposure to the organization.

She is a Registered Nurse and holds a Master’s of Public Health degree, with a concentration in Epidemiology.  She has been with UK HealthCare since 1993.  She provided care at the bedside in the Birthing Center/Labor and Delivery unit for 19 years before transitioning to Risk Management in 2012.

Christie has also achieved and maintains the credential of CPHRM (Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management).
