Legal Nurse Consultant-Litigation Paralegal

Amanda Stanley is a Legal Nurse Consultant-Litigation Paralegal at UK King’s Daughters. She has been a team member since 2003.

Ms. Stanley provides clinical review of charts and records and collaborates with in-house and outside counsel in reviewing potential claims and defending malpractice suits as well as assisting General Counsel with clinical review of assigned cases. She also assists counsel with discovery requests and document review.

Prior to her current position, Ms. Stanley has had multiple roles at the medical center: ICU RN, Follow-up Care Coordinator for various departments, and Risk Management Coordinator.

Ms. Stanley has her Bachelor’s in Science of Nursing (BSN) received from Marshall University in 2003. She has also obtained and currently holds the Legal Nurse Consultant Certification from The American Legal Nurse Consultant Certification Board (ALNCCB).
